Job Description
We are looking for an outstanding Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Bozeman Primary Care. This is a 2 day/week position, with generous pay. Your role will be to work alongside our three current providers providing top notch primary care to patients age 5+ in our community. You will have a great deal of autonomy and will also work closely with your colleagues to ensure the overall success of our clinic. Our patients value more direct access and a deeper connection to their healthcare provider. We are a hybrid model of Direct Primary Care & also take insurance. If you are dedicated to putting your patients first, work well both independently and as part of a close-knit team, and are looking for a change from "big medicine", we'd love to meet you. Salary is combination of base of + revenue sharing. Responsibilities Examine patients and medical records Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.) Diagnose health conditions and illnesses Propose treatments Prescribe medications Maintain accurate records and schedules Inform patients about their health status and medications Educate patients and their family members Promote good health practices Advance professional knowledge Skills Proven experience and expertise in a primary care, urgent care and/or chronic care setting Knowledge of health and patient care regulations Excellent communication skills Strong ethics Patience and cool-headedness Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience DNP is a plus
