Located in Cornelius, NC, our functional medicine and wellness practice takes a personalized approach to health by digging into root causes, not just managing symptoms. Our services include Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Functional Medicine and Functional Lab Testing, Weight Loss Solutions, IV Therapy, and more. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for aesthetics and wellnessto join our growing team. Position Overview The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate provider who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and taking a comprehensive approach to their health and wellness. This role will have a strong focus on aesthetic and anti-aging services and personalized wellness plans. This role starts as part-time with the potential to grow as our patient community expands.Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing interpretation.
- Perform aesthetic consultations and treatments within your scope of practice and training.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expectations, risks, benefits, and ongoing care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Prescribe medications, supplements, and other therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Exhibits use of therapeutic communication, exceptional customer service, professionalism, timeliness, and efficiency in all aspects of work.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in functional medicine and wellness solutions.
- Actively participate in quality improvement processes while being open to the ongoing changes in medical care and make suggestions for improvements.
- Keep all protected health information (PHI) confidential and abide by HIPAA guidelines for the release and disclosure of any PHI.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a relevant specialty (e.g., family practice, internal medicine, integrative medicine).
- Experienced in aesthetics, hormone optimization, functional medicine, or wellness.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in functional medicine/wellness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting holistic wellness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
- Must be detail oriented and be able to multi-task effectively.
