We are looking for a provider who genuinely enjoys caring for patients, values a supportive team environment, and wants the opportunity to develop expertise in pulmonary and sleep medicine. Previous pulmonary or sleep medicine experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP or PA looking for a specialty position with a consistent weekday schedule, early Fridays, and the chance to build long-term relationships with patients.
Schedule Monday-Thursday:
8:00 AM-5:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM-1:00 PM No weekends Compensation $105,000 annually What You'll Do As an NP or PA at Lung & Sleep Wellness Center, you will work alongside our physicians and clinical team to provide thoughtful, individualized care to patients with pulmonary and sleep-related conditions.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Evaluate new and established patients
  • Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations
  • Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans
  • Evaluate and manage common pulmonary conditions
  • Evaluate and manage sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea
  • Review sleep studies and other relevant diagnostic testing
  • Provide follow-up care for patients using CPAP and other sleep therapies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope of practice
  • Educate patients about their conditions, medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other members of our clinical team Who We're Looking For Clinical knowledge is important, but so is the way our patients are treated.
We are looking for someone who is warm, dependable, motivated, and patient-focused. The right provider will listen carefully, communicate clearly, and make patients feel comfortable asking questions about their health. Qualifications
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina
  • Appropriate NP or PA certification
  • DEA registration or eligibility, as applicable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with physicians and clinical staff
  • Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care
  • Willingness to learn pulmonary and sleep medicine Pulmonary or sleep medicine experience is a plus, but it is NOT required.
