About the
Role:
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients in Leland, Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of health conditions for patients of all ages. Your position will include collaboration with your Supervising physician through a shared patient panels. Clinic patient care hours are Wednesdays 100p-700p, Thursdays & Fridays 700a-700p. In your outpatient role, you will diagnose and treat patients; as well as develop and implement patient care plans. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education and advocacy, ensuring that individuals understand their health conditions and treatment options. Ultimately, your work will contribute to improved health outcomes and enhanced quality of life for the diverse patient population you serve.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner certification and NC state licensure. 1 year of Advanced Practice experience in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health management and preventive care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

The required skills of Nurse Practitioner, Family Medicine, and Clinical Assessments are essential for effectively diagnosing and managing patient care. Daily, you will utilize your expertise in medical assessment to develop treatment plans that best meet their healtchare needs. Your knowledge in Geriatrics and Pediatrics will enable you to provide tailored care to patients of all ages, ensuring their unique health needs are met. Patient Safety is a top priority, and your skills will help you implement best practices to minimize risks in clinical settings. Additionally, strong nursing skills will support your ability to educate patients and their families, fostering a collaborative approach to health management.
