Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, team-oriented, and self-motivated Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team and group practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychiatric medication management, a desire to learn and grow personally and professionally, an optimistic outlook, and a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care with a rural, individualized, grassroots approach. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals facing various mental health challenges. The Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting assessments, prescribing medications, making referrals to appropriate community resources, and collaborating with clients' primary care providers and mental health therapists in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs, diagnoses, and psychiatric medication management needs. Prescribe psychiatric medications per client needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in case management activities to coordinate care with other healthcare professionals. Utilize a telehealth platform for remote therapy sessions when necessary. Requirements Valid licensure as a Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Strong skills in crisis management and behavior management techniques. Experience in outpatient clinic settings is a plus. Ability to provide culturally competent care that respects diverse backgrounds.
Pay:
$75.00 - $180.00 per hour
