General Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner provides high quality medical care in a primary care setting working both independently managing a panel of patients, as well as working collaboratively to coordinate care with physicians and other staff to provide patient and family-centered service. Essential Job Functions- : Analyze patient's medical history and health status, examine and evaluate physical condition, order and evaluate results from imaging and testing to verify appropriate treatment Diagnose bodily disorders and medical conditions, develop treatment plans and provide treatments in office and hospital settings Perform minor procedures to repair injuries, prevent and treat disease, and improve or restore patient's function consistent with the physician specialty of Family Medicine and as granted in clinical privileges by the Board of Directors.
