Company Overview Family Practice Associates is a dedicated primary care medical office providing comprehensive healthcare services for patients of all ages. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver expert clinical care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans across a broad spectrum of patient needs. Your expertise will help us ensure optimal health outcomes while fostering trusting relationships with our diverse patient population. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physiology knowledge. Manage acute and chronic conditions through diagnosis, treatment, and medication administration, including injection administration and IV infusion. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, dermal fillers, spinal taps, catheterization, and sterile processing techniques. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document medical records accurately and efficiently. Provide patient education on health coaching, nutrition, disease prevention, and medication management to promote wellness and compliance. Coordinate care through discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities. Engage in telehealth services to extend care access and maintain high standards of infection control and HIPAA compliance. Requirements Valid Family Nurse Practitioner certification with current state licensure. Proven experience in medical office settings with familiarity in Epic, Athenahealth, or similar EMR/EHR systems. Strong background in acute care environments such as hospitals or emergency rooms; ICU or trauma center experience highly preferred. Skilled in procedures including suturing, dermal fillers, spinal taps, catheterization, phlebotomy, and sterile processing techniques. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (children and toddlers), geriatrics (memory care and dementia), hospice & palliative medicine, and assisted living residents. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for accurate documentation and billing. Ability to perform triage assessments in urgent care or outpatient settings; familiarity with occupational health or Workers' compensation law is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care; proficiency in telehealth platforms is desirable. $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
