This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced APPs and newer graduates looking to build a career in Gastroenterology. The practice offers comprehensive training, supportive physician mentorship, and a well-structured outpatient environment that allows providers to develop their skills while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Position Highlights Primarily outpatient Gastroenterology practice Full-time schedule with weekday office hours only No weekday call responsibilities Opportunity to work closely with experienced GI physicians and clinical teams Comprehensive onboarding and training available for motivated newer graduates Established patient base with strong referral sources Collaborative, team-oriented practice culture Modern, well-supported clinical environment Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care Review laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic testing Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, nutrition, and disease prevention Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in occasional inpatient rounding as needed Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on quality outcomes Qualifications Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or eligibility) Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Outpatient clinical experience preferred New graduates with strong interest in Gastroenterology are encouraged to apply Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Schedule Monday through Friday Daytime hours only Typical schedules include 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Approximately one Sunday per month for limited inpatient rounding No routine weekday call responsibilities Why Join Us?
