Job Description

Annual Salary:
$125k $155k (varies depending on years of experience) We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner who holds dual licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family/Adult/Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP/AGNP) to join our client s interdisciplinary outpatient team in Essex County, NJ. This role involves providing medication management, psychotherapy, and primary care services to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Provide medication management and psychotherapy services in accordance with best practice guidelines. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on symptoms, medication adherence, and when to report concerns to clinical staff. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in care delivery.
Requirements:
Master s degree in Nursing from an accredited program with specialization as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family/Adult/Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP/AGNP). Active and unrestricted NP licenses in the state of New Jersey for both PMHNP and
FNP/ANP/AGNP
roles. Minimum of one year practicing as a PMHNP is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is required Additional experience in psychiatric care or primary care settings is highly valued. Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
