Job Description

Job Summary Central Jersey Internal Medicine Associates, PA is a primary care/internal medicine private practice with two office locations in Central New Jersey (Somerset and Monroe Township). Our practice consists of 6 physicians, 2 APNs, 1 PA and a Registered Dietitian. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients in a primary care setting Manage acute and chronic medical conditions APNs and PAs should expect to see upwards of 18 patients per day consisting of follow ups, urgent care/sick visits, physicals and annual wellness visits (AWVs), new patients, and surgical clearances Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results Prescribe medications and provide patient education Promote preventive care and healthy lifestyles Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Contribute to the practices participation and success in Value Based Care/Shared Savings models: AWV's, HCC Risk Coding, Transitions of care (hospital follow ups) Ability to work in both the Somerset and Monroe offices Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in NJ Board certification as an NP or PA Graduate of an accredited program Primary care, internal medicine or other clinical experience preferred Strong communication, clinical, and interpersonal skills Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Athena, Epic or eClinicalWorks, etc. Perform medical procedures such as ear lavages, IV administration, basic dermatologic procedures (i.e. shave/punch biopsy, skin tag removals) BLS certified We Offer Competitive salary Annual Bonusing Comprehensive benefits package Supportive clinical team Professional growth opportunities Join our team to deliver innovative healthcare solutions that make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert clinical practice and compassionate care delivery!
Pay:
$115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
