Our highly-experienced team of 58 board-certified, subspecialized radiologists - including body imagers, interventional radiologists, musculoskeletal imagers, nuclear medicine radiologists, and women's imagers - interpret all radiology studies, from standard X-rays to the most complex procedures, across 16 clinical locations. SJRA is recognized as the region's first Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence and Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center by the American College of Radiology. Job Description Hospital-Based Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Part-Time We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our radiology team in a hospital-based setting. Position Responsibilities Monitor patients receiving contrast and assess for any adverse reactions Provide timely clinical intervention when needed Collaborate closely with radiology technologists and imaging staff Support safe and efficient patient flow within the department Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols Schedule Saturday and/or Sunday shifts from 8am-12pm or 1pm Qualifications Current Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state of New Jersey required NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants or national board certification for Nurse Practitioners required BLS certification required Strong vascular access/IV placement skills required Prior radiology, outpatient imaging, infusion, urgent care, or procedural experience preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience ($65-75/hr) Opportunity for additional hours as practice needs evolve About Lumexa Imaging Lumexa Imaging is one of the largest and most progressive radiology groups in the country.
