Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

This is a Boutique Family Medical Practice looking for a self-motivated, kind, and patient-oriented Nurse Practitioner to work a fixed 2-3 days, 16-24 hours a week . The days worked will be the same for the Provider every week. The provider will not be expected to take call or work extended hours. There is also an opportunity for full-time employment for the right candidate. This Physician owned practice is growing rapidly! The ideal candidate would be comfortable working solo (autonomously) and have outpatient experience as a NP in Family Medicine. He/she must be comfortable providing basic Primary Care including Physical Exams, lab interpretation, and some acute care management (e.g. viral URI's). There is a strong focus on the individual patient at this practice, with providers expected to respond to patient emails and calls within 24-48 hours. This NP must be willing to room their own patients and obtain vitals and a history on their own (i.e. without an MA). We keep the patient volume low so that we can provide excellent care !

Responsibilities:

Provide health care for patients. Be able to help patients with the emotional aspects of their health care. Be able to advise on health matters to patients and their families. Communicate with patients, doctors, and hospitals. Properly diagnose and treat illnesses. Write prescriptions.
