Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Saturdays Only)

Responsibilities As a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant working Saturdays, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic outpatient setting. Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain comprehensive patient histories. Diagnose and treat acute, episodic conditions commonly seen in a primary care setting. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as needed. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Prescribe medications and other treatments appropriately. Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care. Collaborate with our on-call physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all patient encounters. Requirements Valid and active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in NJ. National certification as an NP (e.g., FNP, AGNP) or PA (eg., PANCE). Availability to work Saturdays is required. Proficiency in medical record keeping and EMR documentation. Strong clinical skills, including IV insertion and aseptic technique. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a per diem capacity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Previous experience in a family practice, urgent care, or community health setting.

Pay:

$75.00 - $85.00 per hour
