Job Description

Position Title:
Advanced Practice Provider
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) Job Summary Medix is partnering with a rapidly growing, innovative healthcare organization to find a compassionate and clinically strong Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, acute medical care directly in patients' homes. Compensation and Benefits Target Earning Potential:
$69.70 to $78.35 per hour (Equivalent to $145,000
  • $163,000 annually) Schedule Full-time, 40-hour work week Four 10-hour shifts per week Shift times: 8:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM
  • 8:00 PM Includes a rotation of every other weekend Providers are assigned localized territories to minimize travel time and maximize patient care Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive acute medical care directly in patients' homes.
Perform detailed health assessments, physical examinations, and evaluations. Diagnose and treat both acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions. Develop, implement, and manage individualized patient treatment plans. Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice, including EKGs, catheterizations, wound care, suturing, splinting, IV therapy, and medication administration. Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing results. Coordinate necessary follow-up care, specialists, and community referrals. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and effective disease management. Document all patient encounters accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner. Participate in care coordination efforts to ensure seamless continuity of care. Maintain compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and safety standards. Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). National board certification. Current BLS certification (ACLS certification preferred). Active DEA registration, or the willingness to obtain it upon hire. Minimum of two years of advanced practice experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Acute Care, a Hospital-Based Practice, or closely related clinical settings. Demonstrated hands-on clinical procedural experience, specifically including EKGs and catheterizations. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to practice independently and safely in a home-based care environment.
