Job Description

Gynecologic Oncology APP Opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico Join a growing gynecologic oncology program where you'll play a meaningful role in both surgical and outpatient oncology care alongside an experienced, collaborative physician team. This opportunity offers hands-on surgical involvement, strong mentorship, and the ability to practice at the top of your license within an expanding women's oncology program. You'll work in a supportive environment that values teamwork, professional growth, and high-quality patient care. Practice Overview You'll join an established gynecologic oncology team alongside board-certified physicians, experienced APPs, and dedicated oncology support staff APPs are highly integrated into both surgical and outpatient patient management across the full continuum of oncology care Opportunity to first assist in minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic oncology procedures Join one of the region's leading gynecologic oncology referral programs with continued growth in patient demand throughout the Southwest Schedule Blend of clinic, surgical assisting, inpatient coordination, and perioperative care responsibilities APPs assist with clinic flow, survivorship visits, surveillance appointments, and treatment coordination Shared first-call responsibilities focused on triage, inpatient rounding, and patient coordination Provider-focused team structure designed to support collaboration, mentorship, and long-term sustainability Compensation & Benefits Compensation ranging from approximately $105K-$165K based on experience and scope of responsibilities Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and additional incentives may be available Long-term growth potential within an expanding oncology program Access to advanced workflow support tools including scribes, dictation resources, and AI-assisted documentation systems Candidate Requirements Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required Experience or strong interest in gynecologic oncology, surgical oncology, women's health, or related specialties preferred Surgical first assist experience strongly preferred, particularly with minimally invasive or robotic procedures Ideal candidates value collaboration, adaptability, continuous learning, and patient-centered care Community & Location Highlights Enjoy easy access to hiking, skiing, golf, and year-round outdoor recreation throughout the Southwest Lower cost of living compared to many western metro areas with a variety of housing options Regional airport with convenient access to major U.S. cities and surrounding destinations Blend of cultural amenities, outdoor lifestyle, and family-friendly communities throughout the area Reach out to learn more about the role, team structure, and long-term growth opportunities available within this expanding oncology program.
