Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our welcoming, family-oriented primary care practice. This is a full-time, salaried position providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages — from newborns through adulthood. At Farmington Family Practice, we take pride in building long-term relationships with the families we serve while delivering personalized, high-quality healthcare in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our providers and staff work closely together as a dedicated team that values continuity of care, professionalism, and compassion. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical examinations, medical history review, and assessment of acute and chronic conditions Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses using evidence-based treatment plans Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate Provide patient and family education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative team members to ensure seamless patient care Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation within the electronic health record Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical best practices Maintain a safe, organized, and professional clinical environment Uphold the highest standards of patient care, professionalism, and ethical practice Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization (MSN or DNP) Current, unrestricted New Mexico FNP license Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC/FNP-C) or board eligible Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-based environment Passion for providing compassionate, family-centered healthcare Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Continuing education and professional development support Full coverage of licensing, certification, DEA, and credentialing fees Join Our Team If you are looking for a supportive practice where you can build meaningful patient relationships and make a lasting impact in the community, we would love to hear from you.
