About us Las Vegas Intensive and Pulmonary Specialists is a small business in Henderson, NV. We are professional, agile and our goal is to Las Vegas Intensive and Pulmonary Specialists provides comprehensive medical services in the advanced diagnosis and treatment of lung disease and addressing acute or emerging pulmonary maladies. We are a unique practice that believes in serving as your physician through all levels of care. We strive to keep our patients out of the hospital, but in the event hospitalization is necessary, our physician and staff perform rounds at multiple inpatient facilities. We believe it is crucial to have longitudinal care and it remains the paradigm to our approach. Our providers are dedicated to providing individualized critical and pulmonary care to improve and restore your quality of life.. Pulmonary critical care practice Flexible schedule with flexible time off available. Inpatient/outpatient opportunities Facilities include hospitals, long-term acute care facilities, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinic. The position will include duties in the pulmonary outpatient clinic and inpatient pulmonary and critical care consult service. Competitive compensation packages available. Opportunity to exceed 90th percentile MGMA average.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Acute care gerontology).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and billing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
