Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 0700-1700 (8-hour shifts, hours may vary) No weekends, on-call, or federal holiday coverage required. Position Summary Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Family/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to military beneficiaries at Nellis AFB. Candidates should have strong clinical skills in family medicine and be capable of managing both acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited ARC-PA Physician Assistant program; OR Graduate of an accredited MSN or DNP Nurse Practitioner program (Family and/or Geriatric specialty).

Certification:

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA-approved).

PA:

NCCPA certification required.

NP:

AANP or ANCC certification required.

Experience:

Minimum 24 months of PA or NP experience within the last 36 months. Outpatient primary care experience preferred. Military healthcare/TRICARE experience strongly preferred.

Licensure:

Current, active, unrestricted PA or NP license in any U.S. state or territory.

Role & Responsibilities:

Provide outpatient primary care and preventive health services. Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Serve as Primary Care Manager (PCM) when assigned. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans. Perform minor procedures including wound care, suturing, abscess drainage, biopsies, splinting, catheterization, and foreign body removal. Manage urgent and emergent patient care situations. Maintain accurate electronic medical records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and specialists. Provide patient education and telephonic triage as needed. Ensure compliance with military treatment facility policies and standards of care.

Additional Information:

Overage hours authorized as needed (up to 250 hours annually). No on-call or callback requirements. Federal holidays and designated Family/Down Days observed. About our
