Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, therapy modalities, and behavioral interventions. Manage medication administration, including injections, IV infusions, and botulinum toxin treatments where applicable. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and Athenahealth for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, spinal taps, catheterizations, and dermal fillers when required. Provide telehealth services utilizing telemedicine platforms to expand access to mental health care. Engage in clinical research projects related to behavioral health or pharmacological therapies to support continuous improvement initiatives. Educate patients on medication management, lifestyle modifications, and health coaching strategies to promote wellness. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols during all patient interactions. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Psychiatry or Behavioral Health. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, and Athenahealth.
