Job Description

Annual Salary:
$120k $165k (varies depending on years of experience) We are currently seeking a proactive and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative healthcare team in a radiology-focused setting. This role involves direct patient interaction, procedural support, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care surrounding imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Communication :
Conduct follow-up calls post-procedure to assess recovery, address any concerns, and ensure continuity of care.
IV Access Support :
Assist with initiating intravenous lines for imaging procedures and other clinical needs as appropriate.
Procedure Preparation :
Reach out to patients ahead of scheduled imaging appointments to provide guidance, answer questions, and confirm readiness.
Team Collaboration :
Partner with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
Contrast Monitoring :
Supervise patients receiving contrast agents during imaging studies, ensuring safety and responding to any adverse reactions.
Clinical Documentation :
Accurately record patient interactions, assessments, and procedural details in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
Completion of a Master s program in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA). Current and valid NP or PA license in the state of New York; board certification required (ANCC for NPs or NCCPA for PAs). Prior exposure to radiology or procedural environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, clinical judgment, and comfort working both independently and within a team.
