Job Description for Nurse Practitioner Our busy internal medicine practice is looking for PT Nurse Practitioner. We're looking for a professional Nurse Practitioner who believes that patients should be treated as people rather than numbers in a file, and who understands the value of compassionate service. $65.00 - $95.00 per hour.

Responsibilities of Nurse Practitioner:

Conduct physical exams on new and follow-up patients Establish diagnosis, implement treatment plan and follow-up as needed Order and interpret diagnostic modalities including: Labs, EKG, Diagnostic imaging, etc. Perform Pap smear when needed Refer to specialists as needed Prescribe medications Patient Initial and Follow up Assessment, Evaluation, and Injections. Perform primary care assessments under physician supervision, review patient medical needs, perform procedures and other associated tasks Maintain patient records in EMR Provide patients with support and guidance as needed Experience/Skills required for

Nurse Practitioner:

NYS Licensed Nurse Practitioner 2+ years of experience Fluency in Russian preferred Experience in Primary Care setting preferred Computer literacy and familiarity with EMR Superior "bedside manners" Compensation commensurate with experience Established in 1996, our medical practice provides comprehensive and personalized medical care to the diverse community of Flushing, Queens.
