JOB DESCRIPTION
Education/Experience Minimum Required:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree Possession of an NPI (National Provider Identification) number, as evidenced by the receipt of a copy of the notification assigning the number Successfulpletion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program Three (3) years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting
Preferred:
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
License/Certification Minimum Required:
Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse License American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certification Current NYS Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) license and certification with New York State Education Department Documentation of current CPR certification required within one (1) week of hire, with maintenance of current CPR certification during employment Certified Prescriptive Privilege in
NYS Preferred:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Possession of Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD)Number
