QUEENS, preferably Brooklyn as well) We are hiring for immediate availability for a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide wound management services for specialty patients in nursing home / long-term care (LTC) facilities, as well as home-to-home settings throughout Queens and Brooklyn. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity offering flexible days and hours, with part-time availability preferred and potential for full-time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Lead wound rounds in nursing home/LTC facilities and home settings Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of acute and chronic wounds Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans Apply standard and specialty wound dressings and treatments Perform bedside procedures including incision & drainage, debridement, and grafting as indicated Manage chronic wound patients autonomously during 8-hour wound round shifts Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide education to patients and families on wound care management and prevention Accurately and timely document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Requirements:

Must be board certified Valid NY Nurse Practitioner license Wound care experience is required Reliable transportation (travel throughout Queens required; Brooklyn preferred)
