In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, and assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors through the use of psychotherapeutic methods and medicine. If you are an experienced PMHNP passionate about providing high-quality care, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses Create individualized treatment plans for each client Prescribe psychotherapeutic medication and adjust prescription according to patient's response Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan, including all medication information Consult with primary care physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care is provided Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest professional developments and research Qualifications Valid nursing license and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse (PMHNP) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to explain complex medical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner Excellent observational and assessment skillsBenefits
