Urgent Care Provider - Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Busy Urgent Care | Community-Focused Practice We are seeking Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our growing urgent care team. We are looking for a practice builder —someone excited and genuinely passionate about caring for the community and providing high-quality, efficient care in a busy urgent care setting . Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages Manage common urgent care conditions including: Flu, COVID-19, and RSV testing and treatment Respiratory, gastrointestinal, and febrile illnesses Lacerations requiring suturing and wound repair Minor orthopedic injuries, sprains, and fractures Perform minor procedures including suturing, incision & drainage, splinting, and wound care Initiate and manage IV therapy as clinically indicated Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-ray, EKG, etc.) Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining efficiency Accurately document encounters in the EMR Serve as a positive ambassador for the practice and the community Requirements Active and unrestricted New York State license (PA or NP) Active DEA registration Ability to see and treat patients of all ages Strong procedural skills, including suturing Comfortable working in a busy urgent care environment Availability to work weekends DOT certification preferred (must obtain within 60 days of hire if not currently certified) Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills What We Offer Competitive compensation Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment Consistent scheduling with opportunities for additional shifts Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community Growth opportunities within an established urgent care network Apply today if you are passionate about urgent care medicine and excited to help build a trusted, community-focused practice.
