• Provide care for pre
• and post-operative pediatric cardiac surgical patients.
• Manage high-risk single ventricle physiology, arrhythmias, and support systems like VA/VV ECMO and CRRT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and therapists.
• Occasionally care for adult patients with congenital heart diseases and provide support for PICU boarder patients. Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU as an APP.
• Knowledge of complex cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active New York State RN and NP licenses in good standing.
• Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• BLS from AHA and PALS from ABA required.
• Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification preferred. Working Hours Varied shifts, including a 6:00 AM
• 7:00 PM and 6:00 PM
• 7:00 AM rotation, with on-call as well as holiday and weekend coverage per unit needs. Skills
