About the Job Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient Adult/Geriatric Care | Locum Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a full-time inpatient locum assignment beginning August 2026 through the end of the year. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, collaborative physician support, and travel coverage for qualified providers.
Position Highlights:
Monday-Friday schedule, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. No call responsibilities. Inpatient adult and geriatric patient population. Average of 10 patients per day.EPIC EMR
system. Psychiatric evaluations and patient management. Supervising physician available onsite; MD co-signs notes. Travel expenses available including flight, hotel, and rental car.Requirements:
Active New York NP license required. AANP certification required. BLS certification required. Board Certified. NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days required. Prior inpatient psychiatry experience required; new graduates will not be considered.
