Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Part-Time | 0.4-0.6 FTE | Approximately 2-3 Days per

Syracuse, New York In Collaboration with: Crouse Hospital & Healogics Position Overview Healogics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinical team in Syracuse, New York. This is a part-time opportunity, approximately 0.4-0.6 FTE (2-3 days per week) , providing clinical coverage in collaboration with Crouse Hospital . The NP will provide comprehensive care to patients with chronic and complex wounds and work collaboratively with Healogics physicians, clinical staff, and hospital partners to deliver high-quality, evidence-based wound care and hyperbaric services. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an NP interested in developing or expanding their expertise in advanced wound care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) while working within an experienced multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute, chronic, and complex wounds. Provide ongoing assessment and management of wound care patients. Participate in the evaluation and management of patients receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) . Perform wound assessments and appropriate procedures within the NP's scope of practice. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. Educate patients and families regarding wound care, treatment plans, prevention, and disease management. Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation. Participate in Healogics training, continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical programs. Follow evidence-based guidelines, hospital policies, and Healogics clinical standards. Support a patient-centered approach focused on improving healing outcomes and overall quality of care. Schedule Part-Time | 0.4-0.6 FTE Approximately 2-3 days per week Schedule and clinical coverage will be determined based on the needs of the center and provider availability. Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview process. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license and eligibility to practice in New York. Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Board certification as an NP. Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required by the facility. Previous experience in wound care, hyperbaric medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, or another relevant clinical specialty preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Why Join Healogics?
