Providers make their own schedules, receive a competitive benefits package and have a support staff of Medical Assistants, Medical Receptionists, as well as Office Managers and Collaborating Physicians. This Provider position works 7 - 12 hour shifts per 2 week pay period. If you love helping people and you want to make a difference, we want you to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients with acute minor medical illness and minor acute exacerbations of chronic illness Perform minor office procedures, such as incision and drainage and laceration repair Perform wellness physicals, preoperative physicals, work-related physicals (such as DOT, pre-employment) and sports physicals. Manage the patient's care in a timely manner and maintain a level of productivity that is equivalent to the other providers on staff. Thoroughly and accurately document every patient encounter. Order diagnostic labs/imaging as needed (point of care tests, x-ray, etc) DOT Certification required within 30 days of employment.

Board Certified APRN (Family Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant New Grads - Experienced Providers all welcome to apply Ability to effectively communicate and work in conjunction with other CareFirst team members
