- Based on years of active/independent APC experience and Includes 36 hours per week.
EPIC EMR
system utilized across the ministry Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care for walk-in patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of urgent care needs Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, I&D, and wound care as appropriate Collaborate with medical assistants and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent service Provide patient education and ensure clear communication around care plans Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical recordQualifications Mandatory:
Current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Virginia. Active DEA license A minimum of two years of active FNP/PA experience Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting Must be comfortable seeing up to 60 patients during peak cold and flu seasons. DOT Certified or ability to obtain BLS (minimum) or ability to obtainPreferred:
Experience working as FNP/PA in Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine. Experience with workers comp claims Experience performing DOT, new-hire, and school sports physicalsWork Hours Full-Time:
Three 8a- 8p shifts per week with rotating weekends.
Schedule Example:
Week 1: 0745- 2000 Tu, W, Sa Week 2: 0745
- 2000 Su, Th, F Holiday Expectation At minimum, one market clinic will be open on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day with normal hours.
