In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive medical services across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and specialized care facilities. Your proactive approach and clinical skills will support a wide range of patient needs, from acute care to chronic disease management. We are seeking energetic professionals committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment that values innovation and teamwork. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment plans. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, ensuring proper technique and adherence to safety protocols. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, catheterization, spinal taps, and dermal filler injections with precision and aseptic technique. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes. Provide telehealth consultations using telemedicine platforms to extend care access and improve patient engagement in remote settings. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your practicing state or region. Proven experience in clinical settings such as emergency medicine, hospital medicine, ICU, or critical care environments; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; telehealth experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for accurate documentation and billing. Skilled in performing procedures such as venipuncture, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, sterile processing techniques, and airway management. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), geriatrics (memory care), hospice & palliative medicine, assisted living residents, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to handle complex cases involving infectious disease care, pain management (including acute pain), occupational health issues, and post-acute care scenarios. Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics like nutrition and medication adherence; capable of triage assessment in urgent care or emergency room settings.
