Nurse Practitioner

We are looking for a part-time (16-24 hours per week) Nurse Practitioner to join our team with experience in wound care. This position will work in a multitude of settings; outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding and long term care facility rounding. As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll have to make clinical judgments and have good communication skills. MUST have wound care experience to apply. Responsibilities Examine patients and their medical records Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.) Diagnose and write treatments for wounds Prescribe medications Educate patients and their family members on wound care and ostomy treatments. Advance professional knowledge and conduct research Skills Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital or other setting Expertise in wound care Excellent communication skills Strong ethics Team spirit with a positive attitude Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience Valid nurse practitioner license Master's degree
