Pediatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We seek a Pediatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to fill a part-time or full-time position in our private practice. The successful candidate will have pediatric experience, superb people skills, and an interest in Integrative Medicine. A strong background in pediatrics is necessary for this position, as well as the ability to perform routine medical screenings and prescribe medication.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat a wide variety of common pediatric illnesses in children up to eighteen years old. Examine and evaluate a child in a variety of situations (e.g. school, home, hospital, clinic); order and interpret diagnostic studies (e.g. blood tests) if necessary. Create individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients' health problems; evaluate treatment effectiveness. Serve as an advocate for patients, providing information on community resources, and follow up with patients who are not in the clinic. Participate in the development of clinical practice guidelines, protocols, etc.
