Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Primary Care Provider/Urgent Care Provider, where your expertise will directly impact patient health and well-being across diverse clinical settings. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive medical care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and advance innovative treatment approaches. We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented professionals committed to excellence in patient care and eager to grow within a supportive environment. Whether working in the clinic, mobile unit or specialized care units, you will play a vital role in improving health outcomes for a wide range of patient populations. We need primary care/urgent care providers to see patients in our office a few days a week or all week. We need someone to fill spots for Monday and Friday and possibly through the week as well. This can be part time or full time. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks. Provide primary care services across specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health, ensuring personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Administer medications and injections following strict aseptic techniques and HIPAA compliance standards. Manage acute and chronic conditions such as pain management, infectious diseases, substance use disorders, and post-acute care needs within hospital or outpatient settings. Coordinate with specialists for referrals or complex cases involving gastroenterology, cardiology, ophthalmology, or trauma care; participate in case management and discharge planning processes. Engage in telehealth consultations to extend access to care while maintaining high-quality patient interactions. Skills Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (such as Tebra, AdvancedMD or eClinicalWorks) for accurate medical documentation and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9). Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to perform effective physical exams and diagnostic evaluations. Experience with diverse clinical procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding management, and sterile processing techniques. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes; understanding of Workers' Compensation law and utilization review protocols (a plus). Ability to handle complex cases involving acute pain management, hospice & palliative medicine, occupational health issues, or senior/dementia care including Alzheimer's and memory care. Skilled in patient assessment during triage in urgent care environments. Knowledge of infection control practices and infection prevention measures across inpatient and outpatient settings. Experience working with vulnerable populations such as individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring assisted living services.
