Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations, including vital signs assessment and detailed patient history collection to inform accurate diagnoses. Manage a broad spectrum of clinical conditions utilizing advanced skills in areas such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and critical care. Perform procedures including suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, phlebotomy, dermal fillers, Botox treatments (Botulinum toxin), spinal taps, and sterile processing techniques. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, and Athenahealth for precise medical documentation and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT). Coordinate patient care plans involving discharge planning, case management, medication administration, and follow-up through telehealth or in-person visits. Assist with diagnostic evaluations using sonography or laboratory specimen collection/processing to support accurate diagnosis. Provide specialized treatments including esthetic laser therapy, pain management strategies, wound care with aseptic technique, and hospice & palliative medicine services. Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance evidence-based practice standards within the organization. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification to practice in your state. Bilingual (Spanish preferred). No experience needed, will be trained on site as needed. Strong proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms. Demonstrated expertise in procedures like suturing, IV infusion/insertion, phlebotomy. Knowledge of pharmacology related to psychopharmacology and acute pain management protocols. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using sonography or laboratory testing; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) and CPT coding is preferred. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with physiology knowledge for effective treatment planning. Strong communication skills for triage duties and patient education; experience in telehealth is advantageous.
