Job Description

Description Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our Emergency Department in Ashland, Oregon Asante Ashland Community Hospital is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic group of physicians and advanced practice providers in our Emergency Services department. Asante Ashland Community Hospital is dedicated to nurturing, advancing and protecting the health of the people of Southern Oregon. Education:
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
Experience:
Minimum of three years NP or PA experience in an Emergency Department is preferred. New grads will be considered. License /
Certification:
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required. Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team (i.e. ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.); Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
