Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Employment Type:
Permanent | Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Days |
Day Shift Location:
La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon)
Compensation:
$170K - $173K+ per year We are seeking an innovative, reliable and flexible Nurse Practitioner who enjoys working with a supportive and caring group of healthcare professionals and desires a work life balance with schedule flexibility! Join our team, who serve a local population of approximately 35,000 residents in beautiful rural Eastern Oregon. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive orthopedic physical exams and patient assessments Diagnose and treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries Perform clinical procedures including joint injections, aspirations, and splinting/casting Order and interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and MRIs Develop and manage non-surgical treatment plans and post-operative recovery protocols Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and allied health staff for coordinated patient care Provide patient education regarding injury prevention and rehabilitation Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required) Current NP or PA licensure (required) Board certification or board eligibility (required) Comfort with and interest in practicing in a rural community setting Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary ($170,000-$173,000) Quality incentives up to $18.5K $20K commencement bonus $8,000 annual CME allowance, including licensing, dues, subscriptions, and paid CME time Student loan repayment Full benefits package including 401K with employer match Paid malpractice / professional liability coverage Relocation support No after-hours call requirements PTO
