Geisinger ConvenientCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team as a flex per diem provider in Lewistown and State College, Pennsylvania.
Job Duties:
This position is a flex/per diem urgent care position for external hires, not for b-coding. Clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including: Sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, and urinary tract infections.
Clinicians also provide:
Routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services. ConvenientCare has much to offer, allowing you to live well in both your professional and personal life: $75/hr. Office Hours
  • Monday
  • Friday 8:45 am
  • 8:15 pm and Saturday & Sunday 7:45 am
  • 6:15 pm Must be able to work at least 20 hours (two shifts per month) No overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts. Work autonomously with limited administrative burden. Access to Geisinger's vast network of resources and specialists. Work in comfort
  • Scrub business attire.
Education and experience (Required): Due to the autonomous nature of the position, advanced practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one and older, and have at minimum six months of professional experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care .
