Job Description

Sexual Health Clinician Location / Schedule / Compensation This clinician will provide services across Caring Communities' health & wellness centers in Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, and Bloomsburg. Travel between sites is required. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Position Overview The clinician provides comprehensive, patient-centered care focused on reproductive and sexual health. This includes counseling, examination, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of conditions, including sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This role also includes providing HIV prevention and treatment services, including prescribing and managing PrEP, conducting HIV testing, and supporting ongoing HIV care. The clinician works closely with the Medical Director and follows current CDC STI Treatment Guidelines. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering compassionate, nonjudgmental care and supporting health education and prevention throughout the community. Benefits

  • Conduct medical screenings and examinations for STIs
  • Provide treatment for STIs and other reproductive health conditions
  • Deliver care for clients living with HIV
  • Accurately document all services in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Support the planning and implementation of clinical programs and services
  • Educate clients on STIs, prevention strategies, and treatment options Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Medical Doctor in Pennsylvania
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in reproductive health or infectious disease
  • BLS certification Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience working with medically underserved populations
  • Cultural competency and comfort providing sexual health services
  • Spanish language skills preferred, but not required Application Process Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
