Your Role:
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Seniority Healthcare, you will play a vital role in the mental health and well-being of seniors residing in senior living communities.
You will:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring safe and effective use. Collaborate closely with primary care providers, therapists, BHCMs, families, and facility staff to provide holistic care. Engage in regular case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings. Educate residents, families, and staff about mental health conditions and treatment options. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay informed about best practices in geriatric psychiatry.
Qualifications:
Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Experience or strong interest in working with geriatric populations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Ability to travel to senior living communities in the designated region(s). Current PA state licensure. Willingness to become licensed in additional states (or current
NJ, NY, DE
state licensure) In-person facility based 8am-4pm, in Harrisburg PA area
