Penn State Hershey Medical Center's Academic Practice Division is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our General Internal Medicine team at the Penn State Cocoa Internal Medicine location. As part of a leading academic medical center, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for a wide range of adult internal medicine conditions. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers in a team-based environment. Educate patients on preventative care, treatment options, and lifestyle changes. By utilizing the nursing process, scientific reasoning and critical problem solving, NPs practice within the scope of responsibilities and prescriptive authority defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and the Medical Staff Executive at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
