Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Part‑Time 1099 Contract | Outpatient Family Medicine Clinic

We're seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our outpatient family medicine clinic's team as a part‑time 1099 independent contractor . You'll provide comprehensive, relationship‑based care to patients of all ages—focusing on prevention, chronic disease management, and timely treatment of acute conditions. This role is primarily in‑clinic ; candidates seeking W‑2 employment or fully remote work should not apply. Both experienced FNPs and new graduate Family Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply. Compensation notice (read first): This position is compensated on a percentage‑of‑collections / percentage‑of‑revenue model. It is not hourly or salaried. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments , including physical exams and appropriate diagnostic evaluations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan Develop and implement individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans Prescribe and administer medications (including injections) per safety and clinic protocols Perform in‑office procedures , including joint injections Provide patient education/counseling on prevention, wellness, and self‑management Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care Document accurately and efficiently in EMR/EHR ; maintain HIPAA compliance Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support NCQA standards Maintain current knowledge of family medicine and geriatrics best practices Required Qualifications Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification Active RN and ARNP (WA) licenses Valid DEA, NPI, and BLS Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor Ability to maintain a consistent part‑time clinic schedule (with capacity to grow) Strong clinical skills in primary care/family medicine Working knowledge of CPT and ICD‑10 coding Excellent communication skills; able to work effectively with diverse populations including children and seniors Demonstrated compassion , professionalism, and commitment to patient‑centered care New Graduate Applicants New graduate
