is to provide high-quality mental health, substance abuse treatment, and primary care services to the communities we serve.We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow alongside a new and expanding behavioral health practice. The clinic is owned and Supervised by an experienced Emergency Room Physician dedicated to expanding access to quality mental health, substance abuse, and primary care services throughout West Virginia.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and comprehensive mental health assessments Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders across the lifespan Provide medication management servicesEvaluate patients presenting with acute psychiatric and behavioral health concernsUtilize triage skills to determine appropriate levels of care and referrals Develop individualized treatment plansMaintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with the supervising physician and clinical teamProvide care for patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disordersParticipate in the growth and development of the practiceMinimum Qualifications:
Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certificationActive and unrestricted West Virginia Nurse Practitioner License Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric and mental health experience required Minimum of 2 years of urgent care, emergency medicine, and/or triage experience required Strong triage assessment and clinical decision-making skillsExperience working with patients experiencing substance use disorders required Active NPI NumberActive CAQH ProfileActive DEA Registration (preferred) Ability to pass a federal background checkExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPassion for serving children, adolescents, and adultsPreferred QualificationsOutpatient psychiatry experienceTelehealth experienceExperience treating co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disordersCrisis intervention and psychiatric emergency assessment experienceInterest in helping build and grow a new behavioral health practiceCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive 1099 contractor compensationFlexible schedulingMinimum commitment of 4 hours per weekOpportunity for additional hours as the practice growsSupportive physician leadershipOpportunity to help shape clinical programs and servicesProfessional growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organizationAbout Triarbor WellnessTriarbor Wellness is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health and substance abuse treatment services throughout West Virginia.
