Job Description

Overview Head Well is a woman-owned integrative psychiatry practice providing innovative, evidence-based mental health care, including ketamine therapy and
SPRAVATO
® treatment within a collaborative, whole-person model. We are seeking a compassionate, grounded, and clinically strong Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist to join our growing Interventional Psychiatry Program. This role focuses on preparation, support, and integration psychotherapy for individuals undergoing ketamine-based treatments. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and determine appropriateness for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy services Provide preparation sessions focused on intention setting, psychoeducation, emotional readiness, and therapeutic alliance Provide integration psychotherapy following ketamine treatment sessions Collaborate with psychiatric providers regarding treatment planning, safety concerns, clinical progress, and contraindications Support patients during ketamine sessions when clinically indicated and aligned with program structure Utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based, and relational psychotherapy approaches Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation Participate in interdisciplinary case consultation, treatment planning meetings, and program development Assist in development of clinical protocols, patient education materials, and therapeutic resources for the interventional psychiatry program Maintain professional and ethical boundaries while working within vulnerable and emotionally intensive treatment settings Participate in ongoing education related to psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, trauma treatment, and interventional psychiatry
Qualifications Required:
Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling psychology, or related mental health field from an accredited institution. Active Oregon licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or equivalent) Formal Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) training through a recognized program Experience providing psychotherapy for moderate to severe mental health conditions Strong trauma-informed and relational therapy skills
Preferred:
