Nurse Practitioner Job Description Job Overview We are a MAT program seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on both preventive and acute health issues. This role requires a compassionate individual who can work effectively with patients of all ages, including children, and is proficient in various medical practices and technologies. This is a part time position which may become full time, we have very flexible hours and are looking for 1 or 2 days that may start as early as 5am to service early morning patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations for patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Prescribe medications and manage patient care in accordance with established protocols. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses. Provide education to patients regarding health maintenance, family planning, and disease prevention. Perform procedures as necessary while adhering to aseptic techniques. Understand the 42 CFR rules for MAT programs Experience A valid Nurse Practitioner license is required.
