Arrowhead Medical & Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Primary Care Provider (PCP) to join our expanding practice. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care with a strong focus on preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and holistic wellness . This is an exciting opportunity to work in an integrated medical and wellness environment alongside experts in behavioral health, IV therapy, aesthetics, weight management, and functional medicine . We especially encourage providers with an active DOT Medical Examiner certification/license to apply, as this is a valuable asset to our practice and patient population. Additionally, some of our patients require care outside of the office setting, so candidates should be comfortable with occasional mobile visits on select days to provide convenient, high-quality care where patients need it most. Flexibility and willingness to travel locally are highly preferred. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive health assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders). Prescribe and manage medications while monitoring efficacy and safety. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, imaging, and EKGs. Provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and nutrition. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated and holistic care. Document accurately and efficiently within EMR/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical policy development. Offer telehealth consultations as needed to improve patient accessibility. Conduct DOT physicals and related evaluations (preferred for DOT-certified providers). Provide occasional mobile visits for patients requiring out-of-office care. Qualifications & Experience Licensed Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or MD/DO with primary care experience ( Arizona license required ). DOT Medical Examiner certification/license strongly preferred . Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or occupational health settings. Proficient in EMR/EHR systems such as Tebra, BoomerangFX, or equivalent . Knowledge of evidence-based care protocols and preventative screening guidelines. Skilled in minor procedures (suturing, incision & drainage, IV insertion, injections, etc.). Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation. Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for patient education and long-term wellness outcomes. Reliable transportation and flexibility for occasional local mobile patient visits.
