Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Pacific Northwest Psychiatry Associates is a private practice located in Portland Oregon looking to hire a PMHNP. We provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for patients across the lifespan from 6 to 70 years of age. We work to identify presenting problems, symptoms and develop a patient centered realistic treatment plan. We work in collaboration with children, families, and individuals to provide evidence-based individualized care to attain mental wellness and improve the quality of life. We diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric conditions. We collaborate with the patient to provide medication management services that include discussing risk and benefits of medication, assessing for and minimizing side effects, providing education on how the medication works, and ongoing follow up care to monitor for efficacy and track progress towards the patient's goals. We take a conservative evidence-based approach to prescribing medication. We believe that medication in combination with other forms of treatment such as psychotherapy and physical health care provide the greatest overall improvements. We are looking to hire PMHNPs to join our Portland Oregon based hybrid private practice, Pacific Northwest Psychiatry Associates LLC.
