Connecticut TMS LLC is an outpatient mental health practice offering an integrative approach to psychiatric care. The practice focuses on personalized, evidence-based treatments for patients with conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Therapies include psychiatric medication management, ketamine, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Job summary The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to a diverse patient population, from adolescents to older adults. This role will be at one of our locations New Milford, Southbury, and Torrington offices for in-person appointments, along with a dedicated remote day for telehealth services. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments. Provide ongoing medication management and monitor patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Experience Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health. Active Nurse Practitioner license with certification from an accredited body. Experience in behavioral health settings, including outpatient and inpatient environments. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding for accurate medical billing and documentation. Critical care experience is highly desirable, particularly in emergency or acute care settings. Knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience administering injections is essential. Previous experience working with children, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
