Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various psychiatric conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and support for individuals facing mental health challenges. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their mental health and wellness. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in health settings to address mental health concerns. Stay updated on best practices in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development. Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to patients in distress. Requirements Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Knowledge of behavioral health systems and coding practices. Strong communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. Willing to provide psychiatric services from ages 7+ Proficiency in health coaching techniques to promote patient engagement in their own care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
