Behavioral Health Urgent Care Compensation:
$80 - $90 per hour (based on experience) About the Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health Urgent Care team. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and is passionate about providing immediate, high-quality mental health care. As a PMHNP, you will play a critical role in stabilizing patients in crisis , conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and risk evaluations Diagnose and treat a range of mental health and substance use disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Provide brief therapy, crisis intervention, and stabilization services Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical providers Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation Coordinate referrals and transitions to appropriate levels of care Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) Active, unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Board Certified PMHNP Minimum 3 years of psychiatric clinical experience; 4 years' experience preferred Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Preferred Qualifications Experience in urgent care, crisis response, or emergency psychiatry Experience serving diverse and underserved populations Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) Why Join Us Competitive hourly rate: $80 - $90/hour (DOE) Benefits (PTO, sick leave, health insurance, dental, vision, 401K) Opportunity to work in a mission-driven, community-focused organization Collaborative, supportive team environment Meaningful work providing immediate impact for individuals in crisis Work Schedule Mon-Wed-Fri 10am-7p and Tues-Thurs 10a-4p Remote work available one day per week Apply Today If you are a compassionate and skilled PMHNP looking to make a difference in an urgent care behavioral health setting, we encourage you to apply. #ID #ZR
